  1. 1. Is it bad to want to adhere to the lore of a given game?

    • Lore is great as long as you're not cramming it down others' throats
    • Yes! It's a sign of a dull mind. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to mod in anime pony girls with machine guns to Skyrim :P
    • I'm happy as neither side crams their ideas down my throat

The Akaviri race in the Elder Scrolls - it is said - largely resemble the people of the Asian culture, therefore, katana's are used in the Elder Scrolls lore ...

now because this is the case, I feel that any weapon could fit right in with the Elder Scrolls - because who is to say that they are not from some undiscovered

or forgotten race whose weapons have now been freshly unearthed ?

After all, the Akaviri according to the Wiki were an ancient race never encountered by modern day Elder Scroll culture, so to it could be true of anyone or

anything that may be found in The Elder Scrolls ... so who is to say that anything is "anti-lore" ... you, me, Bethesda ?
