amx2311
Hi all, First of all, thank you devs! I recently started modding after being a long term let's play viewer of modded games. I installed Vortex and so far am very impressed with the auto sort function. Nearly without any effort I have been able to install a lot of mods. Any hickups I was able to solve within minutes. Kudos to the Vortex devs for making an easy to use program. Unfortunately I noticed an instability issue on my pc. I had undervolted my cpu stabilly (I thought), but running a modded Skyrim rebooted my pc intermittently. After such a reboot, Loot stopped working in Vortex (as in: gone in Vortex). On startup it throws errors that I can ignore without any further noticeable issues. Reinstalling Vortex does not repair Loot. It keeps throwing a yaml file error. The file it references still exists, but is empty. Since Vortex still works, I'd again like to thank the devs. Possibly someone will know what could fix Vortex. sopmac45
You do not need LOOT at all. As far as I know, LOOT has been integrated into the auto-sort function. If you want to use LOOT, then by all means go ahead and do it but don't use both : auto-sort and LOOT. You have to decide which one will be your sorting tool. I chose auto-sort and no problem at all. Just clean your master files via FO4Edit and that's it !
