Rallehop Posted September 3, 2018 Share Posted September 3, 2018 (edited) Downloaded a bunch of mods for a new F4 playthrough, with my 3 primary frameworks being SKE, Master Plan and Settlement Menu Manager. I've managed to get all the other content i want installed and functional (armor mods, weapon mods, new settlements, etc) and when i enter the workshop, all the other mods adding new workshop content are visible. I have few mods (if any) that add stuff directly to vanilla menus and i just cant for the life of me figure it out. None of the ingame chems or tools have netted any effect and im scared of messing around too hard with it incase something breaks. Always Manually sort your Load Order, their are plenty of Tutorials Out their, in how to create a correct Load Order. now onto the issue at hand, have you updated to the latest version of SKE, which was uploaded on the 1st of September 2018 ? I do have the latest version of SKE, it says 1.56 on NMM but the file downloaded is 1.57 I guess i should go try and sort my load order manually. Rallehop Posted September 3, 2018 Author Share Posted September 3, 2018 I did indeed update; infact i just reinstalled and found out F4SE was broken from the start and i had to hit the forums to find a version that worked. I'm going to do a clean reinstall of all my mods and try to get just SKE to work; then see if the problem persists. I'll try adding mods one by one to see what, if any issues there are. Deleted3082751User Posted September 3, 2018 Share Posted September 3, 2018 (edited) hmmz, if it dont work on its own, i am not really sure then, especially since it does not seem to require any mod. unless its an issue with the latest version of the mod, but their is no way of knowing since their is No Post Section or Bug Report Section on the Mod Page. i am using 1.56 since i have not updated my game, and their is absolutely no issues, so i can only assume it must be an issue with latest version 1.57. the only other thing would be a mod conflict or the mod was not installed correctly. but for mod conflict that would not be the case if the mod was the only 1 installed, so that just leaves the options you picked in the fomod, and since you have so little mods, load order would not be a relevant here. not too mention they do look like they are in the right place anyway. a potentional thing you can try is this: Go Here: C:\Users\Your Computer Name\Documents\My Games\Fallout4 Open Fallout4Custom.ini, and ensure this is in that file: [Archive]sResourceDataDirsFinal= bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 if it is not, add it. however i am going to assume this is already present since you mention other mods work. but just double check just in case, the only other thing would be your game is having issues with scripts, since SKE uses script injection for its workshop menus. i am not sure about the other 2 mods you mentioned however. I reinstalled F4SE, tried with and without F4SE, tried using the holotape, running menu fixer, installing menu via it; no dice. Infact it put the Master Plan items into the Wood category where it goes if you DONT use the SKE version. I'm not sure much can be done here. I'll just use other frameworks for the time being. SpyderArachnid Posted September 8, 2018 Share Posted September 8, 2018 (edited) Just thought I'd pip in with some info here. You need to manually install SKE now. Extract it, get the files you need, and toss them in your data folder. The newest version of SKE's fomod doesn't install all the required files you need. It doesn't install the bsa for SKE. It only install the .esm. So you need to manually go into the zip file and extract the bsa for the version you are using (static or scripted) and toss that in your data folder in order for SKE to work, cause it won't install it for some reason. Kind of sucks that they have comments and bug reports disabled cause no one will know this information unless they come here, otherwise they'll all think SKE is just busted now. We can't even troubleshoot it among ourselves on the mod page and let others know about it and can't even contact Sharlikran about it either. EDIT: And it appears the scripted version doesn't work properly either, just the static version seems to work. Still need to manually install it.
