vegeta0585
Does anyone know of a mod that will add better armor to bandits and such as I level? Or make it higher quality? When I'm level 60 and I run into a bandit, even with more intense level scaling, and high level gameplay (Which uncaps bandits levels and makes them HIGHER than me) they are in ....fur! or hide! Why can I see bandits in leather, steel, orcish, etc? OR at least upgraded fur/leather/hide! I trip on a rock, and kill 10 bandits as I fall. cscottydont
well, being bandits, I'd imagine they would be stealing it not buying :P
Perraine
This is to do with the "Leveled Lists" AFAIK, a nightmarish part of the Skyrim game engine which determines who, what, where, and at what level and at what quality things appear in game, look for LVLI in the CK and you'll see what I mean ... It's not difficult to modify, technically, but I guarantee you'll be ready to kill your own dog in frustration after plowing through that lot for a few hours ... gasti89
Hello, i'm a member of the Wars in Skyrim V develop team. One of the features of our project is exaclty what you're looking for. Also, this feature will be added NOT by throwing new weapons inside leveled lists from Skyrim, but with creating NEW leveled lists and adding them to NPCs inventories. Check our page for more infos ;) Cheers Gasti
vegeta0585
@gasti89 Ive been watching the Wars in Skyrim info accumulate since I saw the post about it being revived. However, my main concern with that mod, is that being a huge compilation, its going to conflict with quite a few of the almost 200 mods I have installed. gasti89
I can ensure you that the conflicts will be very very few. We're working on having a mod that doesn't touch Vanilla in any way ;) (so not touching anything means no conflicts!) Also, the mod will be totally modular, so you can decide to just install the gear enhancement, or just the gear enhancement for the new spawns or for the vanilla spawns. Or (hopefully) be able to add the most popular weapon mods (like Jaysus) to all the spawns :)
VileTouch
yeah, but i certainly wouldn't like the oblivion dejavú of poor bandits without so much as a roof over their heads running around in full top notch daedric and glass the first day they become available at the stores... that's just not right.. it would be good, though if there were different ranks of bandits. the lowly henchmen that are the bulk of the force, and then some captains with slightly better gear in charge of the troops, but like 1 every 100 or so. and then some elites with a bit better combat techniques and gear, and then some highly powered leaders that pop around supervising the troops but these should be extremely rare but please, don't empower the trash mobs, as they are there to do just that: give some life to the otherwise empty settings not to be a force to reckon around every corner.. otherwise they might aswell take over the whole province if they are so powerful
David Brasher
I don't like seeing bandits in glass armor. That is one aspect of Skyrim that they did right.
Stemin
I don't like seeing bandits in glass armor. That is one aspect of Skyrim that they did right. Yeah, but the spellswords in Southfringe Sanctum are pretty disappointing.
