pinbraid
How do i update skyrim? I installed skse and it told me in a command box to update Skyrim. How do i go about this?
bben46
Skyrim is automatically updated by steam. If you don't use steam because your game is stolen - then you may be out of luck with SKSE.
David Brasher
If you always play in offline mod to save processor power and reduce spam, you will need to log on to Steam long enough for the download to occur before going back to offline mode. stabbykitteh
Is it possible you've downloaded the SKSE version that's intended to use with the Skyrim 1.6.89 Beta patch? You want version 1.4.15 of SKSE if you aren't running the Beta.
Georgiegril
I have the 1.5.blah.blah Steam patch, and I was using the correct SKSE (1.04 etc). I have not made any changes to SkyUI or SKSE since the last patch required it. Then, this morning, I started getting that update error message on SkyUI, so I wonder if there is some problem with SkyUI/SKSE, with UI referencing the beta as the latest patch. Fortunately I have not noticed any problems caused by this situation other than the annoying message.
