LoveOmlet
Is there a way to open multiple NPCs simultaneously and make sweeping changes? Like if I wanted to change something on every single guard in the game or every single male or female or child? And if there isn't a way, could there be a way?Let's say I wanted to change the faction of every single bandit in the game. I wouldn't have to open 1 change it, close it, open another, change it, close it and so on...I could just open them all and change them all at once. What if in the Skyrim I am modifying, I want to give a specific newly modded weapon to every guard? Weight changes, stat changes, faction changes, disposition changes...etc.Just a thought...I posted about this earlier and it was deleted for some reason, so I am re-posting. I got a lotta negative feedback, but it doesn't seem like a terrible idea to me...what do you think? And for the record, I am not trying to get someone to do this, but if someone is experienced with modding, I would like to know if it is even possible and if so if it would be worthwhile or too difficult. I am inexperienced and do not know the nature of Skyrim modding as well as people who use it all the time. David Brasher
I would say that this is not really possible with the current way that CK is set up. It would be really nice if you could make multiple edits in one fell swoop, but that is not the way they built it. This is not really a modding request. It is more of a programming request. If the task was possible, it would probably be done by writing a new program that can act on .esp files. Kind of like writing a program like Wrye Bash or TESVEdit. jet4571
I thought starting a new thread for the same question you already asked was against the rules like bumping a thread. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2881-all-newbies-read-this-before-posting/2) Posting the same thread/post repeatedly in order to gain attention. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?app=forums&module=forums§ion=findpost&pid=5508659 Odd how the subject is the same. I wouldn't continue doing it or else a mod may ban you. *edit, just letting you know you could be banned for it so you wont get banned for the same thing later.
