kevkiev
...I'm also Arch Mage of Winterhold, yet non of the mages I meet show me any decorum at all and non of my dialogue options lets me throw my title around... Yeah, the best you get as Arch Mage is the enchanting guy saying "You're not as stupid as you look." :teehee:
Stemin
@ Stemin, if you were in the US military, as a grunt, and you didn't show due respect to say a colonel (which I relate a legate equalling) whether you know their name or not, do you reckon you wouldn't recieve some sort of reprimand? The good General told me during the induction conversation that once you are in the legion, you are in it for life, and how the legion looks after it's own....but I started this thread as a tongue in cheek comment, not a serious one ;) That depends. Do you run around in your imperial legate's armor all the time so they can see your rank?
Brandy1123
"The goddamned Dragonborn, that's who! Stand aside, I take large steps!" heheheh I always liked the " I used to be an adventurer like you.." REALLY!!!!! you started out as a prisoner at the chopping block and had Alduin show up and destroy a fortress, became head of the Dark Brotherhood, Imprisonned and escaped the unescapable prison - working with the hillmen, brought the underworld of Thievery back to the pinnacle of power, became a Nightingale, killed an Emperor, multiple officials and beggers. Infiltrated cities, strongholds, ancient ruins and fortresses. You discovered a Lost race of elves and the secrets of thier captors, became a master at all skills known, Saved Solitude and became the High Mage, have Lycanthrope blood and commonly sing songs at Jorrvaskr about your heroic deeds. You were contacted and saved the universe through the Psijic order and defeated all the legendary dragon Priests? Not to mention being named and dubbed Thane of 7 regional military centers, owning property and houses in each, a Graduate of High Rothgar (Suma-Fus-Laude), saved and became the recruiter of the Newly re-formed Blades faction, Participated and directly responsible for the Civil War outcome, slayed all the dragonkind, stealing their souls, wrenching words of power from them, friending the 2nd eldest dragon in all creation, talked directly to Daedric Princes and gifted their artifacts, acquired an Elder Scroll, used it, traveled back in time and obtained the lost words of power in the ancient dragon tongue, finding and fighting your way to the rift to face the World Eater, Defeating the Sentinel, then confronted and finally throwing down Alduid before the Ancient Heroes of Legend and the glorious Gates of SovnGarde? Wow, Me too, glad to meet ya!! I can hardly wait for the adventures retirement bring. :teehee: Edited June 14, 2012 by Brandy_123

They had no trouble recognising me in Shrouded Armour or Ebony Armour when they wanted me kill Ulfric nor did Tullius when he elevated my rank

Heartcloud
Lol Bethesda scripting has always "tried" to go for completion but it simply leaves out more loopholes. People simply have too many dialogue lines and it's inevitable at times it'll play out the wrong one.Did anyone notice not even the other legate (Legate Rikke) recognizes you as the other legate? She still calls you "soldier reporting for duty".Btw I think in all Elder Scroll worlds at least 75% of the NPCs are either stupid and/or rude. So their attitude will never change regardless if what rank you achieve. Edited June 17, 2012 by Heartcloud
Stemin
Lol Bethesda scripting has always "tried" to go for completion but it simply leaves out more loopholes. Running all those scripts to check for every single scenario would eventually tax the system and this game was built for consoles. And with good reason: http://theskyrimblog.ning.com/profiles/blogs/how-skyrim-s-stellar-sales-can-be-broken-down?xg_source=activityhttp://www.statisticbrain.com/skyrim-the-elder-scrolls-v-statistics/ Edited June 18, 2012 by Stemin
