CTD every 2-3 minutes

I CTD every 2-3 minutes no matter where I am. I looked in the Papyrus log but have no idea what anything means, all I know is I am missing a ton of SNDLC Quest files, and a couple wetquest files. Also, I have a million lines like this:

How did you sort your load order because it is way off ?

 

IcePenguinWorldMap should be on the top. You have some patches in the middle and they should be on the bottom. You also have some plugins related to Apachii spread all over and they should be on the very top. You have two Lighting, one from Vivid Weathers and the other from Lighting during storms ! Have you find out if they are compatible ?

 

I do not see in your load order : Modern Brawl .. which is a must have mod to fix some issues. I also see that you have : "Alex's Higher Pickpocket Chance.esp" .... have you realized that you can have a million ( if you want to ) chances to have a superb pickpocket via console command ? Why do you need to have mods in your load order which effect you can get via console command ? One less mod, much better for your rig to sustain the stress !!

 

I know that Immersive Patrols is a mod that contribute to CTD and I do not have it in my load order.

 

Conclusion : it does looks to me that you have not read mod descriptions and posts from your mods and before installing a mod, if you want to avoid problems, that would be the first thing you should do. Knowing is half of the battle won my friend and the only way to know is reading everything, ask questions, watch videos if necessary and go from there, so you will know exactly what to expect and you will find out if that particular mod interact with others in a good way.

 

You do not say anything about what mod manager you are using, what your rig is, if you are running an anti-virus in the background while playing, etc, etc. Dozens of things can contribute to CTD, not just your load order.

 

If you cannot find out the reason of your CTD, wipe out everything, go nuke, restart again and install only 5 mods at a time, try them out and go from there. Follow S.E.P.T.I.M. load order but remember, if you do not read and know exactly what to expect from each of your downloaded mods, you will hurt yourself. And last but not the least, download mods from the Most Popular or Most Endorsed List so they are very well mods fully tested by the community and yet, you will have to do your homework because there is no guarantee that you will have a perfect game since basically, that does not exist, but you will have probably a more stable game.
