My solution.

To fix the error:

***

RaceMenu Error(s): You are running SKSE Version 0.0.0.0 expected 2/0/7/56 or greater. NiOverride pluginn not detected, various features may be unavailable. CharGen script not detected, various features may be unavailable. Error Codes: (0)(3)(6)

***

You need to download the archive from the resource: http://skse.silverlock.org/

The 3rd line from the top: "The current build Special Edition 2.0.20 (game version 1.5.97): Download 7z file - you'll probably need the AE build above if you don't know what you're doing ."

Then install according to the instructions in the file: skse64_readme.txt, which is in the downloaded archive from the source above.

Done!

For anyone getting this error, did you just reinstall skyrim so you could use MO2? You may need to fix your load order when running the save from your old install. When I was prompted to use the load order from the save or current, I chose save and experienced no problems. Also, I don't have FNIS installed, I used the alternate Nemesis, and experienced no issues even though the save had FNIS (The FNIS author retired in 2020 so I switched).

I also made a desktop shortcut from MO2 and enabled admin privleges in the shortcut properties.
