CcaidenN
I'm using "Majestic Mountains" and "Enhanced Lights and FX." Majestic Mountains overwrites 2 files from ELFX but according to MM's mod author, ELFX should have the priority in this case. How do I have Mod Organizer use ELFX's files rather than Majestic Mountains without changing the load order?
WastelandAssassin
this has nothing to do with load ordersa load order is the order in which plugins are loaded into the gamewhat you need is to change the mod order . basically have the ELFX mod load after Majestic Mountains in MO . so change ELFX's priority (drag it in the list) so it's after MM

Loot has ELFX at 11 and Majestic Mountains at 25. I don't feel comfortable moving ELFX to 26 incase one of the mods (12-24) need ELFX to be loaded first for them to work properly. So I figured just having MM overwrite those two files would be safer so to speak. I went to the MM file tree and hid the files that were overwriting ELFX. I think it did the trick. I didn't realize moving mods around in the left pane did anything. Moving ELFX below MM seems to overwrite it. Hiding MM's files works too though, I believe. WastelandAssassin
yep , you can also hide the two files from within MM , though most users don't know about this featurebut you are absolutely correct about this , and if you have a lot of mods that might interfere with ELFX if you change your mod order , hiding these files are probably the better option for youit really depends on the situation , and what the user actually knows , as MO isn't quite as obvious and easy to use
