Sebiale
I was cleaning some mod files, using TES4Edit for the first time, and I kind of screwed up.I was cleaning Atmospheric Oblivion and had only "conflict status inherited by parent" checked, but I clicked Filter before I realized I had forgotten to select the Oblivion.esm as well. :psyduck: Will this cause problems? Sebiale
The cleaning finished, the mod list is now filled with all sorts of highlights and colored text. I'm scared.
Nephenee13
Is Atmospheric Oblivion dependent on Oblivion.esm? If so, it was automatically loaded when you selected AO. Anyway, the behavior you are describing is correct. You right click the mod you wish to clean, select "Apply Filter", then choose only "Conflict Status Inherited by Parent". Once the filter runs, right click the mod again and select "Undelete and Disable References". In the message window you will get a message about all the records it searched, and how many deleted references it undeleted and disabled. Then right click the esp again, and select "Remove Identical to Master References", that will remove any records that are unchanged. Then just close TES4Edit, saving when prompted. Sebiale
Thanks. :) What did all the highlights and new text colors I saw after it finished mean?
Nephenee13
Thanks. :) What did all the highlights and new text colors I saw after it finished mean? It has to do with exactly how the ESP interacts with its masters. Its not something you need to worry too much about.
