CTD when main menu starts loading

it won't work unless it's in the EXACT right folder which should be DATA/SKSE

let me see the contents of it, and did you name it SKSE.INI ?

yes its called skse.ini, the contents are

ok the memory patch is right, and if it's in data/skse, then it's in the right place,

 

SO,

 

where did you install SKSE into and did you use a mod organizer like NMM or MO(2) to isntall it?

I installed skse manually by dropping the files into my skyrim se folder

and we already know that you're using SKSE64 so it can't be that

 

maybe use an older version of SKSE64, maybe there's a bug?

i downloaded the latest version from the silverlock site so i dont have an older version, and if i did have one i think a warning pops up when you try to run the game so that's not the issue

have you tried making a vanilla clean save, then enabling a few mods at a time

 

i'm thinking it may be a mod conflict

 

as for the memory patch I have no clue why it isn't working

 

try this and follow the part where he talks about making and using the log that is generated

hello. sorry to post this here. my game crashes at the pre main menu loading! reinstalled the game, deleted skse, launched via launcher, etc etc. ONE time it didn't crash, when I installed it on a different location and no mod and no extra stuff, but the game looked so bad and plus, it said that my recent saves were corrupt blah blah blah! lol what is the solution?
