NexusBob42
That ANNOYING and LOUD sound when using a mass effect relay. I know there is a mod, but it didn't work for me and I already finished my install with ALOT and don't want to mess up my game. Origin installation. I read it is possible to remove or replace:Wwise_MassRelay_Cineanim.afc But this doesn't work for some reason? The same sound still plays. gigurtsis
Do you have the expansion packs installed? I had to edit those to get the mass relay sound to mute. Turns out all 3 of those have copies of the mass relay audio file, and that'll play even if you move the main audio file. Here's what I did. No problems so far. You'll need ME3Explorer and ME3CMM.1) Move "Mass Effect 3\BIOGame\CookedPCConsole\Wwise_MassRelay_Cineanim.afc" and Mass Effect 3\BIOGame\CookedPCConsole\Movies\GLO_01_Relay.bik" into the main "Mass Effect 3" folder. You can delete them instead of moving them if you want.2) Run AutoTOC (from ME3Explorer)3) Run ME3CMM, go to Tools, and make sure the Binkw32 ASI DLL bypass is installed4) Update the .sfar files for the 3 expansions, if you have them (DLC_EXP_Pack001 / DLC_EXP_Pack002 / DLC_EXP_Pack003_Base)(in: Mass Effect 3\BIOGame\DLC), using the below steps for each Default.sfar file.4a) Open the Default.sfar file in SFAR Editor 2 (from ME3Explorer), search for: BioD_Nor_203CIC.pcc4b) Extract the BioD_Nor_203CIC.pcc file (left click on the entry>File>Extract selected)4c) Open BioD_Nor_203CIC.pcc in Package Editor (from ME3Explorer)4d) Scroll down to the entry for "Wwise_MassRelay_Cineanim"4e) Expand the entry, go to "cineanim_massrelay_wav", click the "Properties" tab4f) Under "NameProperty", change "nameindex" to 0, then save the .pcc file4g) Replace the BioD_Nor_203CIC.pcc file in the Default.sfar file (left click on the entry>File>Replace selected)4h) Update the PCConsoleTOC.bin file in the Default.sfar file (TOC>Update TOC)
