Arodin

Hey, welcome to my RP. I have some information about my RP and some basic rules (other than the standard rules for any RP)

The setting is in the land of Arodin (THIS IS NOT A MORROWIND WORLD, but a world i created just for this RP). There is a "main quest" but, there will be availabe "side quests" and the "main quest" may change depending on the actions of the players. Aroskin is a peaceful land iscolated from "The Mainland" (because it is an island) the northern part of Arodin is mainly mountains and valleys whereas the rest of it is plains and grazeland. Arodin has middle ages technology. Arodin is ruled by religon in which they belive that a good man (or women) that acomplishes good deeds will always be rewarded. The Leader of Arodin is the elder monk, Ordrin IV.According to his officials, someone or something is threatening Arodin and the people that live there he plans to find who is planning these threats and STOP THEM!

The main residence of Arodin is Arodinians (humans), however in the northern mountians lives a race of short, nimble,inventive creatures called Gimbles. Gimbles are about half the size of a human, they have curly nut-brown hair, and anywhere from tan to light brown skin,males normally grow small beards or goaties.The Gimbles dont like to communicate with the people of Arodin, however some merchants travel to buy,sell,and trade goods with the "tall folk" as they call the humans. Gimbles are actually quite talkitive when they have something to say. They create homes in the Mountain sides in which they dig deep to create subbterainian homes. Most of these homes are joined with other homes (of either relatives or friends) to make a quick way to visit others.The gimbles are quite inventive and have came up with many inventions and shared them with "The Tall Folk".

The first people Ordin suspected for these threats were the mainlanders since they do not approve of the teachings of his teaching and beliefs.......

 

Now that you know some information about my RP here are the rules.

 

1) No ooc arguements otherwise there will be banning

 

2) The races that you may be are Humans and Gimbles

 

3) On your sign up sheet list info about your character such as: description,occupation,Background Info,etc.

 

4) Please respect other people and their opinions (most of you reading this are probally thinking i sound like your elementary school teacher)

 

5) Finally, Send me a reply if you have any comments or questions. :stupid:

We would therefore request that all rp threads should be given a descriptive setting - there are some excellent examples of settings on the forums. Any rules which apply must be explained clearly - a 'this is how we play it at home' is not sufficient.

 

Any thread which starts off without a setting and rules will be locked immediately, and remain locked until the thread starter supplies the missing information via PM.
