I Wanna Be Like Katniss

I've seen this idea floated around and have been able to accomplish this with console commands but am terrible at scripting. I would love a mod for civil war neutrality but not like the one that is already out there where you just don't choose a side. Essentially I think both Ulfric and Tullius are shitheads. If anyone has seen Mockingjay part 2 or read the books for the hunger games. Katniss asks to execute President Snow the leader of the corrupt government, and while preparing to shoot him looses an arrow that kills President Coin instead the corrupt leader of the rebellion that just overthrew the Capitol's government.

 

To make a long story short, I think it would he so cool if you as the Dragonborn could rid Skyrim of all political corruption to give the Jarls the chance to hold a moot free from political sway, with the Dragonborn mediating.

 

Basically all I would want this mod to do is at the end of the respective civil war questline after the enemy leader has been executed, script in an option for the player to betray and take out the leader you sided with. Example. I choose the stormcloaks and go through the entire CW quest until the siege of castle dour. After Rikke is dead and Tullius is exectued by the player or Ulfric a script will kick in marking Ulfric and Galmar as unessential. I then turn my sword to the two equally corrupted leaders and kill them. Then a script would make Brunwulf the Jarl of Windhelm and in my head I can imagine I'm preparing to lead my own army in a war against the Thalmor. The REAL enemy of Skyrim.

 

In the converse, siding with the imperials, no additional scripting would need to be done beyond making Tullius and Rikke unesdential. Tullius isn't a Jarl, so if I kill him and Rikke after killing Ulfric when siding with the imperials Elisif remains Jarl anyways.

 

I've wanted this to be a mod for so long, please help me!

Closest thing I know is a mod that makes it possible for you to be high-king of Skyrim. Not exactly neutrality so much as it is becoming your own faction. I've never used the mod so I don't know all the details or even its name. I get what you mean though. The civil war leaders aren't really the best and it always seemed to be in Skyrim's best interest to be rid of both of them. But you said you used console to accomplish this previously. Might I ask how? If the console meets your requirements well enough you might be able to accomplish this with just a bat file. Or is there something in particular you can't accomplish with the console?
