FTORanger
Anyone have a workaround for getting the double mouse (windows cursor + in game cursor) usually after alt-tabing? I'm guessing this is an issue with 1.6.89. Thanks!
Viorotica
Apparently if you press Ctrl + Alt + Del when paused and then Cancel it should go, i haven't had the chance to test this but it's worth trying out.
BigBodZod
Anyone have a workaround for getting the double mouse (windows cursor + in game cursor) usually after alt-tabing? I'm guessing this is an issue with 1.6.89. Thanks! I had this happen today in fact, I just saved the game where I was and exited and then reloaded and all was good to go. I think it happened due to me using CTRL + ALT + DEL to enter task manager as I thought Skyrim was crashing while loading my latest save game when in fact it took an extra long time to load up. The game auto-switched back to the game before I had a chance to do this and viola, I had my normal desktop mouse along with the in-game mouse. EL1TE
Disable Steam In-game =)
Mathusrayn
Disable Steam In-game =)That doesn't fix the issue. Apparently if you press Ctrl + Alt + Del when paused and then Cancel it should go, i haven't had the chance to test this but it's worth trying out. ...and this doesn't fix it either. What I have learned and successfully tested is that if you open an in-game menu (I used "favorites") and then Alt-Tab, you don't get the second cursor when returning to the game. Not really a fix, but a successful way around the problem. Edited June 15, 2012 by Mathusrayn
toocold160
Alt+tab out again and click on a blank area of the task bar then go back in. I play in windowed mode, when I hover over the game window and the cursor disappears then I'm good to go. If not I just do it over again, it rarely fails to work for me though. EL1TE
I'm really sorry i did TWO things yesterday and i thought the Steam In-game was the issue but it's not it's the other thing i did that fixed the problem ^^ Go to Control Panel then go to Mouse Properties under Hardware, then on Mouse go to "Pointers" and remove the checkbox from "Allow Themes to Change Mouse Pointers" and apply, hope it works this time. ^^
