pbean
Hi, does anyone know a decent software to subtly change the sound of the recorded voice without much distortion? i just need a little bit of variety in the voices, and a slight difference should do it. Matterspourington
Not to undermine LHammonds ofcourse, but I would reccomend Audacity, a free and easy to use sound editing suit. As for a good voice changing software, I would reccomend MorphVOX personally, but you have to pay after the trial period, (changes your voice over VoIP etc.. really funny online), It can automatically change saved sound files too, aswell as recording your voice (changed ofcourse) straight to disk. Never used WavPad myself, but try them anyway. Hope I helped.
giskarduk
Wavpad is easy to use and good for beginners, used it my self for years. Audacity has more functions but is harder to use and a little unfriendly. I use Goldwave today which is somewhere in between and very user friendly but is shareware. Still the batch convert is great, lots of options, i can even automatically add effects, adjust the volume and other things as it converts from wav to mp3. Thats when I went from stuggling to do mods with 100 lines of dialog in The Necromancer to making The Elder Council with over 500 lines almost over night. More automation, less manual work. TEC is fast catching kvatch up as my most popular mod todate and just happens to be the one with the most dialog, it actually doubles kvatches dialog and kvatch doubles Origin of the mages guilds dialog. So its worth finding a program your confortable using because your mod fans will love you if you use it a lot. Giskard
