back in early 2006 i was asked bya friend to rewrite her orginal work so long

this is the result entiteld so long ,goodbye

...wel she liked it anyway

 

i cant help but think of you

the way you laughed

when you made me smile

the little things you did

the only things that never end

are my memories of you in my head

 

im all alone

its been so long

the look on you face

wil never escape my mind

as i lie alone in bed

so long

good bye

 

the last time we talked

you looked at me

and a smile crossed your face

and i see what i saw then when i close my eyes

i though it would be forever

so long

good bye

 

but here i am

all alone

and its been so long

the tears are trying to find their freedom

but i wil hold it inside

biting them away always

dont went anybody to see me cry

so long

good bye

 

at night every day

i pray and pray

to see you again

some faithfull day

when my pain has gone

i know you want me to go on

but its hard to say strong i know

so long

good bye

 

and here i am

all alone

and its been so long

something is wrong

when i look in your eyes

in the photo i have

tainted memories of what once was

i know you wil say

i am fine

been sitting here for so long

thoughts of joining you enterd my mind

and i scream

and cry

in my mind

but nothing wil fix

and you are watching me from

and its been so long

and i am trying so hard

to carry on

to be strong

and waiting over me

protecting me from things i cannot see

i see you every time

i close my eyes

and before i open them again

and my soul begins to wake
