GrayWolf04 Posted June 14, 2012 Share Posted June 14, 2012 I'm having trouble with the mod. I installed it and because I have the xCalibr ammo mod installed, I selected the corresponding patch. When I start and play the game though, many of the NPC both good and bad will not use their weapon because of the wrong ammo type. When I check their inventory, they have one of the AA guns and an ammo type that is similar, but not the type used by the gun. For example, a super mutant has a RPK with seventeen 7.62mm rounds, but the RPK only uses 7.62x39mm rounds, so the super mutant can't use the gun. When I deselect the patch and run the regular .esp file only, the RPK is able to use the regular 7.62mm rounds, and the super mutant uses the gun as normal. I looked in the GECK at the xCalibr patch .esp file and did not see a way for the correct ammunition to be distributed to NPC's like it is for the standard version. Can anyone help me with this? It is getting quite annoying. And before you suggest it, I have already done a complete unistallation, clean save, and new download and re-installation, and nothing worked. It's just the same thing. ludlow420 Posted June 17, 2012 Share Posted June 17, 2012 have you tried FO3Edit? You should be able to merge a patch of your own to make it work. I found it @ http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/637#content. There is also a manual i would recommend you download as well its located at http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/8629#content.
