Scorptilezero
Hi guys, Came back to Skyrim, I wanted to play with a bunch of mods, so I downloaded a lot before opening the game(mistake!). I used NMM and LOOT to help me with the Load Order. I have no mistakes or error with the help of SSEEdit. And I've narrowed down which mods are troublesome and put them in bold. If i deactivate these 5 mods, Skyrim starts properly. I feel defeated because I didn't even download my armor and weapons mods :/ So I was wondering if you guys saw something flagrant and easy to fix? and second question, When I click Sort Plugins in LOOT, does it load them in right order in Skyrim or do I need to place the mods in the same order in NMM? Here's my Load Order: Skyrim.esm Update.esm Dawnguard.esm HearthFires.esm Dragonborn.esm Lanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Main.esm Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.esp ClimatesOfTamriel.esm BSAssets.esm BSHeartland.esm BS_DLC_patch.esp Falskaar.esm TouringCarriages.esp SMIM-SE-Merged-All.esp Audio Overhaul Skyrim.esp 3DNPC.esp (problematic) Cutting Room Floor.esp SkyUI_SE.sep RLO - Interiors.esp RLO - Effects.esp RLO - Illuminated Spells.esp RLO - CRF Patch.esp icepenguinworldmapclassic.esp Book Covers Skyrim.esp Skyrim Immersive Creatures Special Edition.esp BetterQuestObjectives.esp Immersive Weapons.esp Complete Alchemy & Cooking Overhaul.esp Helgen Reborn.esp RLO - Exteriors.esp GOLD.esp Original Opening Scene.esp Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim.esp Thunderchild - Epic Shout Package.esp SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators.esp Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp Sacrosanct - Vampires of Skyrim.esp GuardsArmorsAndWeapons.esp Run For Your Lives.esp Cloaks.esp Immersive Patrols II.esp YourHome.esp Skyrim Flora Overhaul.esp The Paarthurnax Dilemma.esp Magic of the Magna-Ge.esp (problematic) Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim.esp Ars Metallica.esp BarenziahQuestMarkers.esp Cloaks - Dawnguard.esp Cloaks - USSEP Patch.esp DiverseDragonsCollectionSE.esp BetterQuestObjectives - BCS Patch.esp BetterQuestObjectives-CRFPatch.esp BetterQuestObjectives-DBForevertoMisc.esp Footprints.esp Guard Overhaul - Equality Patch.esp Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp Imperious - Races of Skyrim.esp RaceMenu.esp RaceMenuPlugin.esp dD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Realistic.esp Unique Uniques.esp UnreadBooksGlow.esp VioLens SE.esp dD - Enhanced Blood Main.esp EBT - IC PATCH.esp Moonlight Tales Special Edition.esp ThaneWeaponsReborn.esp BetterQuestObjectives-PaarDilemmaPatch.esp TrueStormsSE.esp Dawnguard Delayed - Level 30.esp Dragonborn Delayed - After Throat Of The World.esp Starting Spell Choice.esp (problematic) iHUD.esp (problematic) WetandCold.esp DSerULG.esp BetterTreasuryHouse.esp MannequinStayPut.esp Ordinator - Beyond Skyrim Bruma Patch.esp Apocalypse - Ordinator Compatibility Patch.esp TrueStorms_Wet&Cold_Patch.esp Wildcat - Combat of Skyrim.esp (problematic) Wildcat - Realistic Damage Plugin.esp (problematic) Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul.esp Convenient Horses.esp RLO - IC Patch.esp CH Bruma Patch.esp Open Cities Skyrim.esp Immersive Citizens - OCS patch.esp Thank you
gromulos
I see a few problems right off the bat swap these - it specifically states on the patch page that NOTHING should load between the unofficial patch and the vanilla files Lanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Main.esmUnofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.esp you have this listed as a problem file, I use this mod myself and have never had an issue with it, the problem is it is placed incorrectly in your load order 3DNPC.esp Place it near the bottom, to reduce any mods interfering with it and lastly, your biggest problem with this load order You stated you used LOOT and Xedit, but made no mention at all of Wrye Bash. Wrye is essential for this load order as it will not only tell you if you have problem mods ( orange or red mods in your load order ) but most importantly it will make a bashed patch for you. With some of the mods you are using they add leveled lists and scripts, you need a bashed patch that will handle those leveled lists and scripts and make them work together more fluidly. my guide, everything you need to know about Wrye and how to use it is included in ALL of step 2  IF, there are any orange or red mods in Wrye, use Appendix 1 to fix them  Also, make sure you use the files in the box i made with the *********** https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2235394-beginners-guide-to-modding/ Edited September 25, 2018 by gromulos
Scorptilezero
Okay, so I wanted to start anew. Deleted everything, reinstall the game, reinstall SKSE, LOOT, Wyre and SSEEdit! So now, I'm going to download 5 mods at a time (Starting with Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch),- Check LOOT (Do the Load Order)- Check Wyre (Check if all is green)- Check SSEEdit (If LOOT has a warning, clean it through here, if Wyre has an orange mod, find his master through here)- Finally check if it work in game and after I restart the process? gromulos
you can do it that way, but the easier way to do it is this make a clean save with no mods, not even the unofficial patch A) Install the core files first SKSESKYUIUnofficial patch2 more mods you never play with out ( for me it would be COT and a custom follower )B) test the game C) repeat step A & B till all mods are installed Then run Wrye and SSEdit and fix any problems as you go and as a final step
Scorptilezero
Thank You :) After I sorted the mods in LOOT, do I need to place them in order after in NMM?
gromulos
they should automatically be in the right order after using LOOT
QuagaarWarrior
I always install Alternate Start right at the start to make testing mods easier
gromulos
I always install Alternate Start right at the start to make testing mods easier while that sounds like good advice, i've never used it so I wouldn't know BUT I would do as quaagaarwarrior suggested
