Does Paarthunax ever get hungry?

Spending thousands of years atop an icy mountain with no meat nearby. Villagers rarely climb the 7000 steps to bring some food to the monks, and I doubt Paarthunax is satisfied eating the same quantity of food as a human monk. Must of been a hungry dragon to survive without food simply by meditating on his Thuum. :( Edited by fleesaurus

Why do you think there are so few greybeards?

I don't think they're loyal enough for that... Besides, they'd need to procreate thousands per year.
