Klipperken
Ok, removed the entire Witcher 2, reinstall, patched to 3.1...Now the Djinni says "not installed properly"??? Drats!
tommy5761
I seem to remember awhile back on the official forums that when uninstalling either game it will sometimes mess with the registry settings affecting the other witcher game as well . About the only sure fix is to reinstall both games .

Klipperken
Tried many a time.I run the GOG version, could this be the reason? Is there such thing as a GOG Djinni for TW2-EE? Mayhaps my Djinni is broken...???
dragonbird
I think you're already getting the follow-up on this over at the main forums, unless there are two people with the same questions. But the quick answer is no, there's no such thing as Djinni for TW2. TW2 uses a completely different game engine to TW1, and Djinni has nothing whatsoever to do with TW2. Djinni is the editor for TW1. However, some registry issue can cause it to be damaged if you install (or update) TW2 after you installed TW1/Djinni. If you have problems with Djinni after installing TW2, you should therefore reinstall Djinni (and TW1 if necessary).
