JDizzO85
So recently I had to reinstall fo3. I loaded up my mods fomm, fose, fo3 edit, loot ect. As I was cleaning my mods in fo3edit the load order suddenly changed so it is listing the mods alphabetically rather than the order in fomm/loot. It appears it is pulling the same order that shows in the non fose fo3 launcher. Any suggestions how to point fo3edit to use the load order in fomm/loot? Am going to try manual ordering in my data file using renaming, but maybe I will delete/reinstall loot first.
M48A5
LOOT uses different criteria to sort mods than what is used in FO3Edit. When using FO3Edit, you will see the load order according to the criteria set out in FO3Edit. Just an FYI, you should never, ever use LOOT to sort your load order. It does not now and never has sorted FO3 mods correctly.
JDizzO85
Yes but it normally (in the past) uses the same load order displayed in fomm. So regardless of how I am sorting them fo3 edit will only display them alphabetically. Which means it won't run because fallout3.esm isn't first. Which means I can't finish cleaning to create my merged patch etc. Any ideas why it isn't detecting my correct load order displayed in fomm? JDizzO85
I downloaded and ran BOSS(it didn't change the order) but FO3Edit is now recognizing the correct load order.
