Vaal Hazak beta/Sealed Eyepath and other headpieces have broken physics on the ponytail hair

So, last night I discovered a pretty annoying (if difficult to uncover) bug - after having downloaded UberGrainy's Better Ponytail, I was disappointed to find that the physics on the ponytail itself are completely broken when worn with the Vaal Hazak beta headpiece (the little hat). I went through the list of headpieces in the armoury, and found that several headpieces have this problem. Namely the Sealed Eyepatch, the Shamos Sunglasses and the Vaal Hazak beta piece. It's as if no physics are attached to the meshes at all.

Note that this also occurs on the vanilla ponytail. It is not the fault of the longer ponytail mod.

Yes, the ponytail is broken in your house/Astera/on expedition.

I am hoping this is fixable, but if not I at least wanted to post it here as a bug (because I could find no info at all during my searching) and I doubt Capcom will fix it. I don't know enough about CTC to even guess at how these could be fixed. I tested this along with another hunter online, and he came to the same conclusion also. I can't remember if this bug is on PS4 or not, I'll have to go back and check.

Hmm. I'm not sure (only just started fiddling with EVHL files) but I think if those models have an EVHL file, they may be disabling features of the hair model.

At the top of every EVHL file, there are usually a bunch of 01s in a row, sometimes other values. I believe these are switches that have specific effects, like making a character bald, concealing the head entirely, or making part of the hair appear differently. It's possible one of them may be disabling hair physics, although I've never tested or checked for this.

Try copy pasting the EVHL I made for the Autumn Festival outfit's head mesh, into the other head models' folders.

It has all those values set to 01, which seems to function as "normal".

I may look into this myself later.
