evechan
I'm sure you guys have seen this topic more than enough times. I'm 5 hours into a new save, so restarting isn't an issue to me if I have to. I had about 22 mods installed and started getting some purple textures, which are just the missing ones I know. It's happened twice now, the first time a simple verify cache on Steam fixed it. This time, I uninstalled all of my mods, reinstalled Skyrim twice, and verified the cache but my chairs are still that horribly bright purple. It's nothing I can't live with, but it's an annoyance for sure. What could I do to fix it? I'm not very savvy with too much of this stuff sadly. I was beginning to wonder if I could just install new texture mods to fix it. Here are the mods I had. A few I won't be reinstalling because they're just useless with the others installed. I do use Nexus Mod Manager if it's relevant.Jango Pet-MountSkysight Skins - Ultra HD 4k + 2k - Male Textures + Real Feet MeshesVerdant - A Skyrim Grass PluginSkysight - Simply Bigger TreesEnhanced Textures Detail (UV-Tweaks)The Eyes of BeautyA Quality World Map and Solstheim Map - With RoadsUFO - Ultimate Follower OverhaulInigoArmored SabreCat MountStatic Mesh Improvement Mod - SMIMRaceMenuKS Hairdos - RenewalHorses for FollowersJapan Home PurchaseFair Skin ComplexionBijin Wives, Bijin Warmaidens, and Bijin NPCsRS Children OverhaulSkyUISkyrim HD - 2K TexturesApachiiSkyHairShowRaceMenu Precache KillerSkyrim Flora Overhaul Edit: I did some running around. It looks like it's restricted to one type of chair - the lower-set, wider chairs - or even further than that, restricted to that type of chair only in Whiterun. xvdoc
Looks like those chairs came from one of your mods. You probably have better chances to fix purple chairs by properly install that particular mod(s). Doing verify cache or reinstalling skyrim wouldn't fix this unless you also reinstall your mods and their requirements. Please install that certain mod(s) and their requirements correctly. If you already correctly install all the mods, it is probably mod author's bug issue or something.
