Having an issue with a lift platform

Hi

 

I'm having issues with an horizontal lift platform moving too quickly (attached image related)

 

I followed this guide below to the letter;

 

However, even at a travel time of 20 seconds the lift still makes the journey in about 4-5 seconds.

 

I'm not sure how to get it to slow down or move at the speed it's supposed to. Am I missing something really obvious?

I recommend following Greek-Rage's elevator ideas,

and not necessarily the vid you linked to.

as those have different speeds.

specifically, Greek-Rage's "wasteland/Castle" style elevator.
