Is this a postable “mod?

Anyone who has played a Bethesda game (Skyrim, Fallout, Oblivion, etc.) knows that they are unstable, especially when modded. In no small part thanks to the various utilities and mods available on this site, plus a ton of experimentation on my part, I have managed to create a completely stable install of Oblivion - 50 hours and 140 mods on a 10 year old laptop, with ZERO crashes or freezes. Thatâs unheard of.

I was considering writing a concise guide on how I did it - short enough that people would actually read it - to pull together my learnings with those from various forum threads and wiki pages available through Google searches. (The idea would be to replace and update those, since they are often hard to find, contradictory, and long enough to be a book.) To make it more visible to people, I was going to post it as a âmodâ to the Nexus. But it isnât actually a mod - just a guide on how to mod well.

Would such an upload be allowed? If not, where would you suggest I put such a guide to maximize visibility?

Darn you, IOS autocorrect! The thread title was supposed to read âpostableâ, not âportableâ. Would a moderator be willing to change it for me then delete this post? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I appreciate the answer. I am intentionally avoiding including other files with this so that makes sense.
