worldoftanks How to modify visuals

Hey I was just wondering if if any of you modders out there might know how to edit some of the game files. Specifically what I want to do is modify the visual look of some of the tanks (for example, I hate the look of the upgraded turret for PzIV, and would like to edit the look of said turret back to the original turret while keeping the stats.)

 

Note: I do not wish to modify any of the actual stats of the tanks or modules, I am not a cheater. I just want to make them more visually appealing to myself haha. Let me know if you can help in any way! :)

apparently changing models is relatively easy if you know how -- and since its a client side change its legal and doesn't effect the actual game play

 

the actual changes install like any skin so look at the files to see how it was done
