Mktavish
Well you don't have to choose between them , you can have both. And would be easier to just drop a grill outside ...Then on the reference window of it. Go to the "Enable Parent" tab. And select "MegatonPlayerHouse" in the cell drop down. Then select "HD01ScienceTheme" (XMarker) in the Reference drop down. But then if you want to turn off the hot plates or just one of them. Which I guess would be the one on the top right side of the shelf cabinent ?"ScienceMHotplate01"But there are 3 others on the bottom shelf enabled by that same theme."ScienceMHoteplateA03""ScienceMHotplateA02""ScienceMHotplateA01" Anyways , to turn off 1 or all of those ... bring up their Reference windows , And flag them as "Initially Disabled"Then remove their "Enable Parent" It will probably be a little tricky being able to click on them to bring up their Ref window. But find them in the right side of cell window and click them there. Then you will be able to see a line coming from their enable parent to them. And when you hover the mouse over them , you will get the + sign for moving them , instead of the mouse pointer. The one on top right side is hidden pretty well by those TV's , but a little piece of it is clickable.Plus if you keep clicking on the wrong thing , while the render window is active , hit "1" which will disable that object so you won't click on it again. F5 will bring back objects to be clickable again , but also only while the render window is active. Hope that helps.
