Josephrose
Well my concern for letting any person join, would not be simple, or boring houses. My concern would be crappy work. Like floating items, holes into the void, and what have you. Or kids, who rather than making anything simple, try way too hard, and make gaudy crap. "SUPER ULTRA FLOATING DRAGON HOME WITH WINGS, AND TEN FORGES!" I mean, I can see a lot of that happening. Anyways, I still love the idea. Keep it alive! Keep it alive! lol, good idea - SUPER ULTRA FLOATING DRAGON HOME WITH WINGS, AND TEN FORGES  There will be guidelines in place to ensure that it's kept lore friendly. I'll keep these posts (here and Beth forums) alive for 2 - 3 weeks and see what kind of interest has been shown, in that time. Anyone wanting to add a SUPER ULTRA FLOATING DRAGON HOME WITH WINGS, AND TEN FORGES mod, need not apply :D [Edit] ^^ Those kind of mods can be made by individuals after the final worldspace is released to the public. UnknowMan317
I'm sure in to join ! But is there a way to import our player to put it in that community mod ? Tamb0
...But is there a way to import our player to put it in that community mod ? Yes there is, and it's very easy. Full insructions (probably a small web page) will be given on how to do this. You could use your existing ingame player, or create a brand new look for yourself...it doesn't matter, as long as the avatar has your name. Another good point about the whole project, is folk will learn a lot. People involved with the project will be more inclined to help others involved in the project, with problems they have. Maybe more so that they would, if they read about it on the forums. Edited June 21, 2012 by Tamb0
AphoticPhoenix
Just an idea but... It is, theoretically, possible to be both lore friendly and have conflicting styles. Quite appropriately (considering the nature of this mod proposal), Sanguine by lore has tons of realms, so if this world space was supposed to represent one of those it *might* work. Tamb0
Initially, homes in the worldspace should be lore friendly. I've been working on the map and I've extended the playable area by another ~1000 cells. There are now 6 provinces, not 5. Another possibility is to have each province (Hold) have it's own unique theme. The later stages (after homes are complete) will allow quests a bit more freedom, as far as lore is concerned. But again, within reason. If folk want to make the 'SUPER ULTRA FLOATING DRAGON HOME WITH WINGS, AND TEN FORGES ', then by all means, they can do so after the mod is made available to the public.
