jroin
Hey mates.., I'm looking for a modeler to make a couple of costume mashes and/or textures for me. It's for a race mod I'm making.they're called "Mystmer" and are tru masters of mysticism. Here is a consept sketch I've made: -There skin is Human (Imperial / Nord) like. (does not fysically age (much)) -The gem on there forhead glows and changes collour with age. (White, Light blue, Light purple, Light yellow, bleu, Red and Black/no glow). -There eyes glow, in 2 different eye types, full (mono) coloured and Iris coloured, the "Iris coloured" eyes have black eyewhite, the colours of both eye types are the same as the gem on there forhead. If you need more information or more detailed sketches, just say so. And now the inporant part. This race is based on an elfen race in the book that I'm wrighting.., So.., NO stealing the consept!!!!You will be credited as is fit when the mod is releesed. Thanks in advance :thanks:
LoginToDownload
I don't quite see what you need a modeller for... The head-gem would almost definitely be doable with normal maps.
myrmaad
Things with "mer" in the name should have fish tails. Oblivion is missing a mermaid/merman race anyway.
ihateregisteringeverywhere
Mer is Elf in oblivionish.
jroin
@ LTD,How.., I know crap 'bout 3Ds or blender..., Do I just add a gem to the forhead of a vanilla race, and thats it???And what 'bout the textures and ears (the ears ARE different from vanilla ones) @ myrmaad,Oh.., I thought it was a pretty in lore translation from Mystic Elf.., you see: High Elf (Alt-mer), Dark Elf (Dun-mer) and Wood Elf (Bos-mer). They are not called Myst-mer in my book if you mean that.., they are just revered to as "Those Mystic elfs", Though "Mistic Elf" as race name is already taken by the verry popular "Mistic elf" race by Ren.., and just calling them "Elf" would just not sufice. Yeah, it was quite a letdown. LoginToDownload
The ears aren't the same as any of the elf ears? You don't need to change the 3D models of anything for this if they do match one, just the textures. All you'd need to do is "paint" a gem on the forehead in a new layer using GIMP or Photoshop and run it through a high-magnitude Normal Map Filter. jroin
Yes, the ears are different, They are the most like Dunmer ears but larger and tilted backwards (slightly) About the gem: "paint" a gem on the forehead? wouldn't that just creat a really bright spot..., like hindous have that red spot??
