Bone appears in 3ds max but not in nifscope? How to fix?

Still working on my power armor mod ^.^... This week's problem...

 

I've weighted a mesh to the Tank_Armor bone of the power armor skeleton (PAframe_Raider) (in 3ds max) but when I transfer the custom bsSubIndexTriShape (my mesh) to the reference nif (PAFrame_Raider) in nifscope - an error pops up saying that the Tank_Armor bone is not in the nif.

 

So - I'm not sure why the bones appear in 3ds max but not nifscope, on the same model (PAFrame_Raider) does anyone know?
