Archive damaged please help

To answer some Questions, I'am using the "Mod Manager Download" feature and the FOMOD installer. Also after reading people's replies, I have tried downloading it manually and installing it that way, I have also tried NMM( community-maintained version)and was able to bring up the scripted installer so I think it may be possible that it is a VORTEX issue.

 

When I installed "Skyrim Better Roads SE" several months ago, Vortex had no problems handling the FOMOD installer and installing the mod.

 

HTR is right. The problem is not Vortex. The problem is probably some kind of connection issue.

I can't tell if it is a connection issue or not, the file looks like it downloads just fine, I have even tried changing my Preferred download location on the nexus with no luck either. I have also did some testing and have gotten the same issue with other mods that have scripted/FOMOD installers.

If Vortex fails to install a mod, open-up the same mod-archive with 7-zip and see of 7-zip can successfully extract all the mod-files.

 

If 7-zip gives you error-message, you've got a connection-problem. If 7-zip successfully extract all files, you've got a Vortex problem.

 

If you've got a connection-problem, try downloading the same mod with your web-browser of choice.

I've tried extracting the files and didn't get an error message, and as i've said before i have tried installing other mods such as CBBE, JK's Skyrim - Arthmoor's Patch Pack, and Rich Skyrim Merchants to name a few as I know they use scripted installers.
