wildphoenixify
So I'm getting back into Skyrim after not playing for years at this point. I have a MSI GT60 2PE Dominator Pro laptop that I bought new in 2014 that handles mods and such pretty well, even now too, after I've modded my game using Vortex. I used to use the NMM all the time, but am liking Vortex pretty well now. Anyways, my question is would it be of any benefit to play Skyrim SE? My Skyrim is the original plus the add-ons of Dawnguard, Dragonborn and Hearthfire plus the HI Res Texture pack. I don't have that many mods in Vortex yet, but probably enough that it would be irritating to unplug them all and reapply them. Finally, since Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming out, it has some stellar horse models in it. Is there a chance that any of this can be copied over in the horse modifications for Skyrim? Evangela
They are both almost the same in terms of modding at this point. SKSE64 is available and many mods have updated accordingly, making Skyrim SE more viable to switch over.
NTGhost
in fact i was able to break the Engine of Oldrim with extensive Settings so bad the Game crashed constantly. Same setting or even higher don't bother Newrim at all. So if you want to go nuts on Skyrim in terms of Mods and stuff i highly recommend newrim.Because they convert the engine to 64bit and make it so far more efficient, less resources hungry and with in more stable i wasn't able to break the engine again.
Freyadiin
Depends on what you want I guess. Most of the gameplay mods have been ported over by now and SE is definitely more stable, but LE is still wayyy better for graphics right now.
