DonaldtheDark
It does feel like something is getting stuck in an API somewhere as as soon as I navigated to Setting-Mods after activating Fallout4 the path c:\games\vortex was already selected.Just for giggles I disabled my AV(avast) while doing the fresh install but it does not appear to have changed anything. Grestorn
It still tries to move data. That's clearly an error. But to get around it, you should clear out Vortex completely so it starts from scratch. To do that, navigate to c:\users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Vortex and delete everything in there. That'll remove Vortex' database and all it's config data. Then it should work, iI hope. Before you do that, though, you might want to use "Send Feedback" (top right, the dots), and include the "Application State" and "Application Settings" so Tannin can reproduce and fix this issue. DonaldtheDark
I sent the feedback but forgot to include state/settings so that won't do anyone any good... whoops. After deleting the ...\roaming\vortex folder I can confirm that everything appears to be working correctly. Mods are being saved to the correct path.I suspect I borked something when I set each game to use the same folder when I was trying to set it up initially. Thanks for everything.
