Troublekelp
Nexus Mod Manager doesn't install some mods. I've installed several mods without any problems but there seem to be some mods that it just doesn't like. When I click install the mod goes from grey to black but that's all that happens, It doesn't install the mod. I've tried running NMM as admin and using "Scan Mod directory subfolders for mods". I've also tried redownloading the mods and downloading the mods manually and adding them to NMM but nothing seems to work. I have NVSE, an enb, 4gb fix and the borderless windowed mode. Here's my NMM Settings and my mods. The mods that are grey won't install
dubiousintent
Did you install Steam to it's default location? If so, please see the wiki "Installing Games on Windows Vista+" article for why the original default Steam behavior of installing games to the "C:\Program Files" folder tree was bad (they learned better, and don't do that any more); and why "disabling UAC and running as Administrator" is NOT sufficient, with instructions how to move it. This is the single most important thing you can do to fix and protect yourself against problems in the future. As much of a PITA as that is, it's never going to be any easier than now. System updates often cause issues with games installed to these folder trees. Please see the 'Restoring to "Vanilla"' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article as well. * See "How to markup images (etc) in forum posts and comments" article for how to use "Spoiler tags". Otherwise, I don't see anything obviously wrong, but I don't use NMM. Check the "Nexus Open Beta Feedback forum".-Dubious-
M48A5
NMM has always had a problem installing any mod that did not conform to the usual install location. That is why you have a problem with NVAC. The instructions make no mention of using a mod manager to install the file. It requires a manual install.
