Bug Report

Exact Skyrim Version Number(ex: 1.6.91.0): 1.6.89

Description of Problem or Potential Conflict:i'm having a weird bug that no merchant is trading with me! i don't have the option, i tryed every city, still the same, do you have a fix for this?

Where were you when this happened?:evey where

What time in game was it when this happened (if applicable): ingame i've just finished the Riften Thieves Guild quest which is bugged so i used the console command "setstage TG01 stage" and "resetquest TG01" to get it done, don't know if this created the bug

How reproducible is the problem (one time, occurs on demand, etc): every merchant in every city, only dialogue, but no trading option

Do you use a script extender such as Script Dragon or SKSE? Which version?:yes ScriptDragon_1.6.89.0 and skse_1_05_09

Any other information you may think would be helpful: i'm working with the stormcloack, we've destroyed white-run and when i talk to the merchants there, i can only ask them the impact of the storm cloacks on their business

I don't know since when i have this issue because i don't really need to trade with merchant, but i think it's after the 1.6.89 patch, the reason i need to trade with merchants is that i have the Wearable Lanterns mod and in it there is a Torchlight Lantern which require to

buy the lantern form vendor

Are you trying to post a bug report? Cause this isn't how to do that.

Anyway, what you have is probably a mod conflict of some sort. It is possible this has been caused, not by something on your mod list, but something that was incorrectly removed. You can try the following:

Try an older save, back before you noticed the problem. Or if you backed up your game before the problem started, you could try to use that.

Try verifying your cache through steam. If this is caused by a missing file, that may solve your problem.

You could also try choosing just one esp from the items (like the cloaks mod) that tell you to do so, instead of multiple esps...it may not be the cause of the problem you have now, but it may cause or contribute to other problems down the road.

Otherwise, you will need to identify the cause. If you removed any mods, go back to the mod author's website, read their readme completely. If you incorrectly uninstalled the mod, there may be a fix. Or there may not, you may need to reinstall the game.

If you have not removed any mods, then go though all of your mods, read the readmes. Look to see if there are any known conflicts between the mods you are using or known issues similar to your problem, and maybe a fix or workaround. Read the uninstall instructions for each mod discover how to uninstall completely properly. You can try uninstalling all of them (correctly according to the mod author's instructions--not just deactivating, this does not remove all files, depending on the mod type) or uninstalling them 1 at a time. The second way may be faster if you have an idea what mods you added just before the problem began, or if any of the mod sites mention your situation as a possible problem, but the 1st method can tell you if the problem remains with NO mods, which might mean that you have corrupted a file through incomplete removal of a mod, and that you may need to reinstall skyrim, particularly if you don't know which mod you incorrectly removed.

In any case, once you have found the source of the conflict, you can try reloading your mods exactly according to the mod authors instructions and see if the problem reappears. If it does, you can reread the authors readme and discussion thread to see if it is a known issue and if there is a fix try uninstalling other mods, and see if you can find another mod adding to the conflict, and then decide between the two, or visit the mod authors page to see if there is a workaround. Following installation instructions exactly, (including installing just 1 version if told to do so) installing only 1 mod at a time, ordering through BOSS and then testing skyrim to see if it is working properly can save a lot of time down the road.

Good luck...
