MikeCobalt
 Hey everybody, adding mods now in the Data section of the MO some of the mods appear red and the message says "Also in: Unmanaged, Mod Name". I see those listed at the very top of the load order and the symbol for those are "Redundant". Also in the data section when "Show only conflicts" is selected these are the ones shown. This cant be right..right? or atleast not very efficient, clean. How to *Fix this? Edited November 1, 2018 by MikeCobalt
WakahisaSensei
Not 100% sure I'm reading your question right, but I'm about 75-80% sure. A redundant mod means it is already present (you have two of the same mod). The unmanaged one is from another program. For example if you used NMM and are now switching to mod organizer, any NMM mods that are still active will still effect the game. But because they are on NMM, they are "unmanaged" by Mod Organizer. In addition, the game, DLCs, and patches will likely appear as unmanaged mods as well. If the mods are simply redundant you could (in theory) leave them and it won't cause harm to my knowledge. It's simply a waste of space and plugins. You can probably disable them by going into whatever mod manager you used prior, or the Skyrim launcher. Its not truly a conflict as it is basically telling you (you have two mods that do exactly the same thing, piece for piece. Might as well get rid of one.) I used to accidentally run SKYUI twice, for example. Didn't realize I had to turn my old mods in NMM off when I switched over to Mod organizer. I hope that answers your question. If not, send a screenshot and I might have a better idea. I'm no expert, but I've been getting pretty familiar with Mod Organizer and it is probably my favorite of the mod managing programs. MikeCobalt
I *Think...its the same .esp and .bsa file in multiple locations (In both the mod file (In Mods) and data section. Some I Removed those 2 from the mod file but still in the data (runs fine) but others no (Load order says "No Data") . If its not *Hurting anything that's ok I guess. I'm guessing an autocorrect program hit you pretty hard on that one. But yeah. Generally MO, LOOT, or the game itself will tell you if something is harmful to the game. (and the worst case scenario is that you have to reinstall.)
MikeCobalt
Those files listed (in Red in the Data section of M.O.) have .esm (or .esp) and sometimes .bsa files in both the Skyrim/Data and their own folder in the Mod Organizer/mods section. Can't help you with that.
MikeCobalt
:) Thanks anyway. It seems to run well enough just the Data section listed those as Conflicts and the text is Red; I thought I'd post it here and see if anybody knows.
