Expert difficulty help heh.

Hey everyone. My first time posting on this site even though I have been using it a long time (love it btw, gj!). Need some advice here. I decided to try out expert difficulty and was using a Paladin build I found online. So after I got done making my escape and meeting up with the fella's uncle (forgot the town name offhand lol) I decided to meander out and about to do my first quest.

I found a wolf. Wolf ate me. Scratched my head and reloaded the game. Setup some better hotkeys of what I would need with what meager pots/weapons/spells I had at this point and went after this deadly beasty of beasts. I got ate again.

So for you folks who play on the hardest difficulty setting, do you start off the game on expert right away or do you turn it up at a certain level? If you start it right away then how in the heck do you manage to build up your character at all when a measly beast can eat me in no time at all? I don't plan on cheesing the game by exploiting the smithing/ench/etc (have a bunch of mods that changes them up so you can't anyways). I'm just looking for a quick summary on how to begin to even do something when a wolf can eat me already.

Thanks for any help/answers =)

Man, if you are playing the game from the first time, then is better to you to be on apprendice lvl (Novice is too easy). When you reach

lvl 7,for example, you can put on expert or adept.Good luck.( the beasts of Skyrim are not so powerfull)

I finish the game 15 time, and start on Master.
