PNY GTX 560 Ti XLR8

Recommended Posts

So as of today I have decided to build my own computer. I already have a graphics card, however I don't really know how good it is. I'd love to be able to run new games on the highest settings, and, even better, with mods. I really don't know if my card is capable of that, as my old computer had a bad processor and RAM and everything else so it couldn't run things very well all the time. I've seen a lot of cards that are over $1,000 and I'd really like to avoid spending that much if my card isn't very good.

My card is only like a year old, so I was hoping that with a system that has everything else up to date I can run games on the highest settings (and don't worry about the other parts, I've just been looking at other threads, but I needed to have this one answered since I'm not really sure). If it isn't good anymore please share a recommendation, I'm wanting to build a PC that at the very most I spend about $2,000 on. And if it isn't good, are people willing to buy used cards? Never really had to sell one before, but I'd like to get a little back if I get a new one. Thanks!

its not the best but is one of the better bang for our buck cards out there. most lower budget systems use them and they can play most games on high no problem. however if you have a $2000 budget, you can most likely afford an even better card like the new 7950 or even 7970.

and yes, people do buy used cards. ebay is a great place to sell them. especially if the card is only a year old. youd prolly get somewhere between $100-$150 give or take id assume used, since its ~$250 new. again give or take.

Either you could get the most awesome CPU mobo ram psu combo around and get by with the 560 Ti for now, or you could sell the 560 Ti and get an all round new computer.

I'd buy the best CPU+mobo+psu I could afford with that money and later upgrade de GPU when new stuff comes around (GK110 for example).

Awesome thanks for the help guys! I think I'm going to try to sell it and get a new card since I'm going to have to either buy a new PC or build one. Might as well upgrade!
