Peregrine
Of course you can. Who says you have to take alchemy as a major/minor skill?
saldrex
One thing, only your base atributes affect your health as you level. His 6000 atributes do nothing as he levls because all of it is for tification and it has no effect on you as you level. FOR ANY ONE YOU CANNOT HAVE ANY YOU STRENGHT ABOVE 60 AS A LEVEL 2. That make s his character a total pushover once you hit him with anything or cast dispell on him. When you level up from 1 to 2 you get 1/10 of your base atibute of you endurence without the frotification. That measn that starting with the max health of 50 at level 1 and having the max base endurence of 55 if he started woth the max endurence and got the max multiplyer. Since the gam always rounds down he could have at max 55 hp if he did everything correctly. FORTIFICATON DOES NOT AFFECT LEVEL UPS AND POTIONS ARE FORTIFICATION. m_gobes
saldrex is correct I know this because I studied the ways of "Max HP" and even with a starting endurance of 85 which is max. and a starting strength of 60 which is max. you wouldn't have many hp. and a levelup from 1 to 2 would only gain you 9 hp max. that's it w/the x5 endurance multiplier. I know that the potions are fun for a while but don't get "too Powerful" cause it takes the fun plus once you get so powerful the potions become "permanent" I had a character with INT of over 1000000 it was making potions that lasted over a year human time. it wasn't fun at all after I used a levitate potion and only saw blur then black when I try to move. just think about this when you are making Fort INT potions only make the potions around 1000 pts max so you can use them when you want and they return you to regular in around 15 min. Darkh Templar
Just to sidetrack a bit: I once dowloaded a savegame that had a Dunmer with 50000 or something in all stats and every time I used a sword to hit something and actually hit something with it, it would break. Every weapon would break. So with 67305 strength, punkfiveo would be condemned to h-t-h combat until the fortification effects wore out.

Malchik
OzO2 - it is useful to check the date of the last post before you add a comment. Anything much over six weeks old is regarded as dead and reviving it, unless you have something important to add is considered thread necromancy. All this is in the rules if you check them out. You are new and so mistakes are to be expected. Just read through the rules now and you'll be fine.
