ModdersResources
If I wanted to resize/reposition a piece of jewelry in Skyrim Special Edition (like move a ring to a different finger) using outfit studio, and save my changes, how do I do that? The last time I tried, it caused CTD immediately after loading my saved game because I edited a mod item in outfit studio. Do I need to check "copy to bone weights" and do I export with or without reference?Everything loaded up just fine after I uninstalled the mod. Thank goodness I didn't do it to a vanilla item or else I could have corrupted the entire game.I'm using the CBBE female body, if that's at all relevant to this question. xvdoc
If you haven't found a solution, try these if you have nifskope. You have to do this trial and error.... lots of it. This is not using outfit studio tho. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/284336-how-do-i-flipmove-this-object-in-nifskope/ https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4907495-how-to-move-xyz-coordinates-in-nifskope/ You can also change body slot of your meshes nif (make sure you also configure them in Creation Kit as well). This way, your character can wear multiple rings in the hand.... in theory.
