DrBlurz
I recently installed Skyrim online mod and I wanted to uninstall it. So I've deleted the files it said to delete and I tried to start it up again but It crashes.. I even used SKSE (Script extender). And now I'm wondering how I can delete the game and install it again THROUGH STEAM. Thanks
Georgiegril
To be safe, you may want to back up your game and folders first, somewhere separate. Go to your steam interface, click on the "games" tab on the top menu.Find the game, right click on it, then cleft click on delete local content. Then go back into your own files and delete all Skyrim folders. (Save games are in user/documents/mygames or something similar unless you put them in a custom location. Data files are probably in Programs/Steam/Steamapps. Look for folders/files that say skyrim. If you want too remove everything, then remove the skse files. Removing the skyrim Data folder will remove installed mods, but the zip folders downloaded from NMM automatically are probably in username/gamesUnclick the cloud sync box. To be certain you have it all, you might want to completely shut down your computer or clear the cache. Then just go back to steam and reinstall. :-) You can verify your cache (click on the properties after the right click on the game in steam)to make sure it downloaded properly. If you are using Skse again, just double check that you have the correct version for your game. Good luck!
