areelvestad Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Hello! I love to capture images of Skyrim, but I have a "problem". All my images miss the feeling of life and action. When i write tfc in the console, i cant move my character, so he/she is always sneaking or just standind there. And now the question: Is there a way to "freeze" Skyrim while I'm doing stuff, so I can capture a great moving, action-like awesome shot? If you know or have some tips, please share.
Snowsong Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 (edited) You didn't say whether you were on a PC or what ... I'm on a PC, and I just hit the "Print Scr" button (on your keyboard) repeatedly in the middle of action. It takes amazing screenshots. You retrieve the files later by going to (at least this is how on my computer): C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim Edited June 28, 2012 by Snowsong
Rooker75 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 You probably want the TAI command. TAI Toggle Artificial Intelligence - freezes NPCs; they can't walk, move, do anything, but they can still talk if you talk to them first.
areelvestad Posted June 28, 2012 Author Posted June 28, 2012 @Rooker75: Thanks! That's exactly what I'm been looking after. Ty!! Do you know if there is a way freeze my own dovahkiin?
Rabbit1251 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 If you use "tfc 1" while in third person view it will freeze the action at that point and permit you to move the camera around freely to line up some great action shots, or so I have been told. Rabbit
Staind716 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 (edited) Yep, "tfc 1" to freeze the action and "tfc 0" to re-enable it. Also I like to use "tm" to remove any text on screen like hud items when I take pics. And "tfc 1" also freezes your character too. Edited June 28, 2012 by Staind716
