MangaBottle
So... I've got the hang of the Merge Plugins app, and now I have to whittle down 400+ plugins, and I'm feeling overwhelmed. Does anyone have any advice they can share, maybe a guide they can link to, please? Thanks
CharrGazgre
Don't know about that merge plugins, but for me, I manually merged all of armors/clothing mods. This allows my character or NPCs to wear mix and match armor/clothing mashup. No more "incompatibility" due to same body slot #. Just saying
MangaBottle
Ok, any other advice? Should I post my load order?
QuagaarWarrior
The mods you can merge are probably only limited by your skill level and knowledge of programs like Merge Plugins and SSEEdit. If you're a beginner I would just merge mods that are ESP only. Most patches are a single ESP so that is where I would start.Personally I group the patches together for example Legacy Of The Dragonborn patches in one merge, CACO patches in another merge. More complex mods can be merged but may involve making sure you have the Copy General Assets ticked in Merge Plugin and possibly renaming or extracting BSA files I would check YouTube Gamerpoets tutorial for Merge Plugins to get a better understanding. Its actually for Oldrim but the principles are the same Edited November 12, 2018 by QuagaarWarrior
