Georgiegril
I am sorry you are having such a hard time! I am not really clear on what you have done. I don't use the fps limiter, but rather the EVGA precision to limit my fps. However, if you go back to the fps authors page, there should be a lot of information available to help you. read the entire description, readme, and discussion thread. When you deleted the fps limiter, it may have either removed or changed you fps and that is what is affecting the game. Since you say you have Precision already downloaded, you could try opening that up, and moving the fps slider on the bottom to something like 35. Make sure to click the enable box and also click apply so that the change will take effect. If that works, yay! If you are still having issues: I kinda feel like we started this problem in the middle, and so backing up may help us figure this out. So, can you tell me the following? your computer specs-- what kind of processor, how much RAM, the maker of your nvidia card, how much RAM (you can get all of this info easily if you download and run CPU-Z, or on steam you can click on the help tab in the top menu, then click on system properties. What version of Skyrim? What graphics setting? (for example low-med-high-ultra, FXAA enabled, distance sliders, etc.) Does the problem occur when you set these lower?Do you use skse? How are you connecting to skyrim? (skse launcher, NMM, the basic steam interface, etc.) Was there a time that you were able to play Skyrim with reasonable loads and less skipping? What has changed? What mods are you using, and in what load order? Were there mods that you removed shortly before the problem began? Have you shut down background processes, like automatic updates, scheduled virus scans, cloud sync, IM, etc?
