Georgiegril Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 So you don't have your fps set still? I'm sorry I must have misunderstood you, I thought you have the Precision Working. It may not work with your graphics card manufacturer. You can find who that is usually by looking that the actual card in your computer. But if the EVGA doesn't work, you could try MSI afterburner, it works for a lot of people even without MSI cards. Your screen shot did not actually work. ;-( It has to be from a web site, not a hard drive. Can you tell me, if you use a mouse/keyboard and load using the steam interface, are your load times any better? Do you have the steam autosync turned off? Are all other applications closed and your background programs disabled?

blitzen Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Doesn't enabling vsync limit FPS? When I have used fraps to measure FPS, it has always indicated 60. Is there some reason to go lower? For load times, have you defragmented your hard drive? Have you disabled your anti-virus software while playing Skyrim? Avast allows you to tell it to not scan certain folders, so mine is ignoring anything at the Steam folder or below.
