And if you saved in the house itself....I don't think you'll be able to load it up. I don't know if the save game editing function is working with Wrye yet, but you can give it a shot to remove the esp/esm's that you are no longer using. Do a fresh save outside the house. Heck, outside the city even, then load the game from that fresh save. That should fix it as well. That way the saves would have different esp's active in it.
