Hasmith99
Pause screen, containers, popups, etc. Whenever I exit out of them my ENB (Lemot ENB at the moment) apparently turns off for a split second, but only when outside. This is pretty jarring and immersion breaking. Is this just an unavoidable downside of ENBs or is there some way to minimize this? Someone suggested I turn down a glare setting, but I couldn't find anything like that.
dubiousintent
Not familiar with that particular problem. However, please see 'Solutions to Post-Processor (ENB/SweetFX et. al.) problems' section of the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" article. Among other things, it provides a link to the S.T.E.P. ENB INI files settings guide. -Dubious-
Hasmith99
I guess I'm explaining it poorly, here's a video https://imgur.com/32ae7EV This isn't actually from the current enb I'm using but the problem is essentially the same
dubiousintent
Sorry, but I can't help you any further. (I tried it, got it to work, and decided ENB was more trouble than it was worth to me years ago.) That this problem occurs with another preset suggests it's either a configuration issue with the presets, or fundamental to the ENB series. As I haven't seen it reported before, I'm inclined towards the "configuration" conclusion. When did you obtain your current ENB files? Recently Boris updated the FNV v322 binaries without changing the version number. Might be worth updating. If no one else pops up here, your best bet would be on the ENB Forums or trying yet another preset. -Dubious-
Hasmith99
I've got the newest binaries. I also watched some videos of people who use ENBs, and they seem to get the same thing, but I guess they don't mind. I'll just try to minimize it I guess. KiCHo666
That's a normal thing that happens with ENB. There's probably a technical reason for it, though.
Hasmith99
Yeah that's what I figured, I really wish someone knew what causes it though. Some ENBs are worse than others so there must be some settings that could be tweaked to minimize it.
