Berkilak
Hi all. I've just installed Wrye Bash after turning off UAC. It boots alright, but when I turn Wrye Bash off I get an error message pop up. "C:program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Moby\Wrye Bash.exe.log" Anyone know what this is about and how to correct it?
Sonreac
From what it looks like to me, its trying to create a log file for bash. And it probably doesn't have permission to create the file. What I would do is take your steam folder out of C:program files (x86) and reinstall Wrye to reflect the change. Might have to do the same to steam so its internal files will reflect the changes as well. NMM if you use it. A few minutes of work which can help in the future so you don't have to worry about UAC popups and having to run it all as an administrator. Just my thought. Berkilak
I understand that that UAC thing was a bit of a nightmare, but I didn't count on if blocking even once I turned it off! I've now sent all my Steam docs to the "Games" folder. Is that okay? UPDATE: Just reinstalled Wrye Bash into the Skyrim folder in its new location in the Games folder and it's still showing the same error pop-up upon turning off Wrye Bash.
